On-site Filming September 9th - 12th

To our valued guest of Nita Lake Lodge,

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that we share the news with you that from September 9th - 12th we will be hosting the filming of Untamed, an upcoming Netflix series. Though we will be working very closely with the filming crew throughout this period to ensure the least amount of impact on your Nita experience, you will notice some décor and set changes, production and camera crew members, and/or some closed areas for filming throughout your stay.

We are reaching out to ensure you see this as a positive enhancement to your experience with us at the Lodge. If you foresee a negative impact on your stay, we wanted to proactively address any of your concerns and work with you to ensure all questions are answered. Our priority is our guests, and we will honour any cancellations within our standard cancellation policy.

Noise Mitigation Measures

- Start of day meeting outlining the day's activities including noise mitigation merasures involving all crew.

- All crew receive email with noise mitigation measures and expectations of all crew during night filming.

- Noise Mitigation added to email and hard copy of call sheet.

- Headsets issued to all crew members to to eliminate walkie-talkie/radio noise.

- "Set-Quiet" Generators - Use of ultra quiet generators designed for use on film sets with sensitive microphones.

- No truck movement past curfew hours.

- All lift gates will stay down upon completion of loading to avoid excess sound from gate.

- Crew required to load trucks quietly on September 11th and 12th AM.

- Neighbours in close proximitly to generators, trucks or lighting notified of activity and offered hotel accomodation should they feel the need for it.

Lighting Mitigation Measures

- Lights angled away from residents and focused on our scenes.

- Lights turned off when not in use.

- Use of siders and skirts to avoid "light spill".

Filming Schedule

Monday September 9

8am to 8pm - Setup and staging on ground level of the hotel.

Tuesday September 10

8am - Continued setup and staging.

2.30pm to 7.30pm - Filming in lobby of hotel (Limited guest access).

7.30pm to 2.30am - Filming front patio by Lake Placid Road. Two lighting lifts, facing downward to avoid guest disruption. Traffic control onsite to assist.

2.30am to 4am - Pack-up. No truck movement and subject to noise mitigation measures.

Wednesday September 11

8am to 2pm - Continued setup and staging. Cure Lounge & Patio closure.

4pm to 7pm - Filming inside the hotel (Cure Lounge and lobby)

7pm to 2am - Filming outside the hotel (Cure Patio)

2am to 4am - Pack-up. No truck movement and subject to noise mitigation measures.

Thursday September 12

8am to 8pm – Removal of staging and cleanup. No restricted access, some minor disruption. Cure Lounge & Patio Closure.

Monday, September 9th - Day 1 of Set Up (No Filming)

The main entrance, above ground parking, lobby, and Cure Lounge will all be closed for guest access. Front desk and shuttle will be operating from the Train Station (neighbouring our onsite Spa). The Den dining and patio open will be with potential interruptions and limited bar service. Our team will be pleased to assist with facilitating alternative dining reservations.

Tuesday, September 10th: Day 1 of Filming

Main entrance, above ground parking, lobby, and Cure Lounge will all be closed for guest access. Front desk and shuttle will be operating from the Train Station (neighbouring our onsite Spa). Our Pool, Hot Tub and Sauna may have limited access during the evening. The Den dining and patio will be open with potential interruptions and limited bar service. Our team will be pleased to assist with facilitating alternative dining reservations.

Wednesday, September 11: Day 2 of Filming

Main entrance, above ground parking, lobby, and Cure Lounge will all be closed for guest access. Front desk and shuttle will be operating from the Train Station (neighbouring our onsite Spa). Our Pool, Hot Tub and Sauna may have limited access during the evening. The Den dining and patio will be open with potential interruptions and limited bar service. Our team will be pleased to assist with facilitating alternative dining reservations.

Thursday, September 12: Tear Down

Main entrance, above ground parking, lobby, and Cure Lounge will all be closed for guest access. Front desk and shuttle will be operating from the Train Station (neighbouring our onsite Spa). The Den dining and patio will be open with potential interruptions and limited bar service. Our team will be pleased to assist with facilitating alternative dining reservations.
